Referrals Admission Criteria

Promises for Women currently offer short to mid term placements (not exceeding 24 months) to:
- Care leavers
- Women aged between 18-55 years
- Vulnerable women who are experiencing any of the following:
- family breakdown
- sexual exploitation
- domestic violence
- homelessness
- substance misuse (post treatment)
- ex-offenders or currently on probation order
We can also consider disabled or pregnant women who meet the criteria above.
All referrals must have a care co-ordinator or officer, a written Care Plan with explicit, identified needs and a multi-disciplinary Risk Assessment and Risk Management action plan.
Each referral is assessed based on the health, safety and protection of our staff, other residents, local community (public), considering the resources made available to manage any identified risks.
